Using flipchart in the classroom
I used the flipchart for my French Revolution cuases presention. It was pretty easy to use but I fumbled through some parts. It was to use the imbedded videos instaed of having to have them ready on youtube or other sources. However it was not a great timesaver, and it kind of took me out of my comfort zone. I like the idea of using premade presentations, but I find it easier to use powerpoint than flip chart.
BYOD video discussion
Watched video on BYOD. I have a question about registering their devices...how did that work. Also providing for all students who don't have their devices? Otherwise it was similar to what we do in our classes, and getting students to use electronics to enhance their educational experience.

technology observation Keith Cochran World History
Keith used the Moodle to do an online renaissance art worksheet. They had to look over renaissance art ant evaluate and read about some art work. It was an online activity that had to be completed and submitted online through the students moodle account. Things started out slow, due to some internet problems and then some websites were unable to be accessed. By he end of the class most everything was taken care of and working. Keith said he has had some problems with the internet and the moodle quite often this year.
